R. Eric Jenkins

Born in Murray, UT

Lives & works in Logan, Ut

 

Eric is a storyteller. From childhood to now he was has been fascinated by tales of heroes, monsters and epic quests, and has created hundreds of illustrations, sculptures and models to bring his own stories to life.  He followed his passion for story to film school, where he learned the fundamentals of film production as well as the principles of acting and crafting  a knock-out screenplay.  He has gone on to a year of successful freelance work, ranging from writing, directing and illustration.  If you need someone with a transcendent sense of what makes story work, Eric is your man.

Education

  • 1500 Hour Certificate of 3-D Animation (Equivalent to an Associate's Degree) from Bridgerland Technical College.  Exp. Oct. 2018.

  • Graduated Cum Laude from John Paul the Great Catholic University with a Bachelor's Degree in Film Production, Sep. 2016.

Story Artist

  • Created expressive storyboards for Jason and the Astronauts "Blast Off" sequence

  • Generated time-saving story boards with writers on 48 Hour Film Festival project, Unrequited.

  • Art Director for Blue Button student film, which was nominated for 2017 Best Student Film Hollywood Verge Film Awards.
